Crystal Academy & Mi Girasol

We had our very first art and music donation drive in the summer of 2022. ❁

We partnered with Crystal Academy, a therapy center and school for individuals with autism and developmental delays. This has been a dream of ours to give back to the community in a creative way. Whether it’s through donation drives or building a project together with a school or organization, it’s a beautiful way to give back locally, to the city that helped raise us.

During the art drive, we filled up 4 large boxes of art supplies, musical instruments, and books, and raised over $1 in donations. Mi Girasol dropped off all the art and music supplies that were generously donated by our community for Crystal Academy.

It was an honor meeting the founder, Maria Palacio, and the Crystal Academy team. It was a true inspiration walking through their school and meeting their students; we can see how much love and passion everyone has there. ⁣

Art and music supplies give us the freedom of self-expression and imagination necessary to achieve creative potential. And that is why we want to continue giving back to schools and centers in Miami. ⁣

We hope this art recycling project continues to shine. This project is a tool for expression, a voice, an outlet for young artists. A big thank you to everyone that came together!
